Chronic

On Sunday afternoon, I had a rather routine migraine. On Monday, I had a rather routine post-migraine/postdrome malaise. From Tuesday onward, I have had a mystery ache behind my left ear that does not respond to migraine-relevant treatments.

I suspect it might be my arthritis acting up. I'm trying to contact my rheum, but with the holidays on the cusp and my family travel plans, I don't know what will happen. I suspect further that the dip in the weather probably has something to do with it. Atmospheric pressure is possibly linked to both migraines and arthritis.

Some future historian will read my journal entries and chuckle and say, 'This primitive idiot doesn't know that they have [name of the undiscovered underlying condition that causes all of my problems]'. I just know it.
