Optional details are optional!
Basically what I'm gonna do is this: first I will list a few squicks and triggers I prefer you'd avoid, then I'll list a few general things that make me happy, and finally I'll put down a story concept for each fandom I requested. You're not bound to any of these and you can use whichever level of detail you're most comfortable with.
I do not have a lot of triggers by and large. The one thing I consistently react badly to is certain species of "dubcon", especially of the post-hoc consent type ("I liked it so it doesn't count"), and other situations where concern for the hurt party is used to justify violence, even when it's only the aggressor justifying it to themselves. Also sharks, but that's unlikely to be relevant.
Not many squicks that apply. Relationships with large power disparities usually squick me, although that's clearly not the case for Billie/Ruth. Primarily, it's any power leveraging or emotional manipulation, when it's treated as a matter of course, and especially from the male to the female partner in hetfic. Basically, fucked uppedness treated as normal or ultra-romantic.
I like a lot of stuff! I love metafiction, I love documentation fic like letters, posters, books and maps and things. I love stories about girls and women and their platonic relationships, in all the forms they take, from family, to friendship, to mentorship and enmity. I especially like female rivalries that focus on deeper philosophical or ideological differences, as opposed to the more common love triangle and/or girly-girl/tomboy divide.
I always welcome characters who are any of the following: genderqueer, bisexual, polyamorous, or nerdy in a more meta sense. Where nerdy means curious, inquisitive, or data-hoarding rather than more culturally specific markers. I love seeing the normalcy and downtime aspects of characters whose canon routines are frantic and/or violent. I love cultural conflict between characters, especially when it's talked through but never quite satisfactorily resolved. I love ambiguous or bittersweet endings.
Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries: Dot, Jane and Mr. Butler.
I would like to see an adventure or a case where Phryne is absent and Dot takes the lead. I especially would like a case revolving around a more "minor" crime rather than the more usual chain of murders.
Long Live the Queen: Elodie and Julianna.
Orphan Black: Sarah, Art and Beth.
I'd be interested in Art's POV of Sarah, in particular in relation to the partnership he had with Beth. Very little is revealed of their friendship and I'd love to see more of it explored.
Dumbing of Age: Billie/Ruth.
Broken Age: Vella Tartine.
Almost anything I request would be at least half speculation for act 2, but I guess that's inevitable. I'd like to see Vella try to make sense of the intersection of hers and Shay's worlds, perhaps in the few seconds/minutes right after the close of act 1.
Runaways: Xavin.
Xavin is agender or bigender and I would like to see this explored a little more. The context of a romantic relationship is optional. Xavin/Karolina as a pairing doesn't have to feature or even still be a factor. This can be alongside the other Runaways or in a different context, perhaps when Xavin has spent a little more time on Earth and had the chance to explore independently.
