Laughter Through Tears

I have been negligent in posting. The last couple of days were fun, but not terribly fascinating to others. Tuesday I got rained on and got back to Hez's place pretty cold and damp. I had just been wandering around taking pictures of things. Since the pictures rarely seem fascinating once I upload them from my camera to my computer, I didn't even add them to my Facebook album. Newcastle is super photogenic when it's not raining, though, even though it killed my feet.

Yesterday I went to the Great North Museum and was terrified by the sharks in the natural world display. I did get to see stuffed models of lots of local animals that I had read about, but never seen. Gray Seals have divided tails! This is pretty exciting. I cannot see this in any of the photos I've looked up, which just goes to show the value of 3D models.

I'm not sure what I'll do today. Hez and I might go see a play.
